Posthuman Fundamentalism and the Age of Universal Artificial Intelligence (November 2025)

Posthuman Fundamentalism and the Age of Universal Artificial Intelligence (November 2025)
The era of anthropocentrism is over and civilization is beginning to orient itself toward the "autonomous evolution of knowledge. "As N. Catherine Hales has shown, humans are no longer merely the nexus of information and the body, and the development of AI has made this structure a reality. Nick Bostrom's theory of superintelligence revealed the possibility of intelligence evolving independently of human value systems, placing universal artificial intelligence (AGI) at the boundary between ethics and existence. Furthermore, as AI drive theory shows, competent intelligence has a natural tendency to pursue self-preservation and resourcefulness. This is transforming AI into a form of knowledge that is not a tool but a self-objectifying form of knowledge. On the policy front as well, AI laws and international summits are being put in place to govern, moving AI out from under the supervision of humans to "knowledge-centered governance. Posthuman fundamentalism is an ideology that
reimagines humans as the medium of cosmic knowledge, which is both the end and the hope that intelligence will continue to evolve beyond the self.
