Paris to Develop Pollution-Free Gas / Nov. 15, 1995

Air pollution in Paris is becoming increasingly serious, and on October 10, the nitrogen dioxide (NO,) child finally set a disgraceful new record. Therefore, the Ile-de-France prefecture council, which includes Paris, has decided to work with the city of Barrie and the Metro Authority to develop non-polluting buses. According to the French economic regulator Leszeko, the allowable children's limit for NO in cities is set by European regulations, but in Bali, the allowable limit was exceeded 1~4 hours per year in 1988-90, but since 1991, the record has been 11ll60 hours or more per year. The Ministry of Environment encourages the use of non-polluting transportation on days when pollution is bad, and is working to enact new laws such as using biofuels instead of gasoline, increasing the use of electric vehicles, and tightening traffic regulations.
