It was revealed that the company had illegally dumped approximately 50 tons of industrial waste generated during its manufacturing process on a riverbank without proper disposal. The Bureau of Environment conducted an investigation following a report from local residents and confirmed that the abandoned waste contained asphalt, plastic, and hazardous substances. As a result, XYZ Recycling Co., Ltd. was fined 3 million yen and received guidance on preventing a recurrence.
