136 Facilities at disposal site 1999.08.15

In the spring of 1998, when the Ministry of Health and Welfare investigated a managed disposal site established by municipalities, there were 538 facilities that were not subjected to anti-infiltration measures such as water-impervious sheets, and 364 facilities had reclaimed incineration ash and soot. On the other hand, the situation where the improvement of the equipment was requested, and 136 facilities were continued to carry the incineration ash without the water-shielding work because of the delay of securing the alternative treatment facilities by the survey in July, 1999 became clear.
