Halong recovery without progressing concentration 1999.08.15
Atmospheric concentrations of the ozone depleting substances Halong are still rising in the Japan sky. The environmental agency's research has increased the concentration of 1.5 to 1.7 times in the 10 years from 89 to 98, to about 0.004 ppb. Halon is used as a fire extinguishing material, and the production was completely discontinued at the end of 1993 in the Japan, but it is seen that the release continues from the fire extinguishers sold before that. After the strengthening of the regulations, industry organizations are voluntarily recovering, but the amount of recovery to date is less than 1% of the production volume.
