Fermentation and Sustenance, The Accountant's Quiet Table

Fermentation and Sustenance, The Accountant's Quiet Table

I pay considerable attention to my daily diet. I have a habit of frequently eating fermented foods such as natto (fermented soybeans) and kimchi, but this is not just a preference; it is the result of health-conscious choices. During particularly busy times of the year, I make a large batch of curry and freeze it. These curries are very convenient because I can simply heat them up in the microwave and enjoy them even on an exhausting evening. In my daily life, I have noticed that these small efforts lighten the burden on my mind and body.

Regarding health maintenance, I am careful not to rely too much on medication. Rather, I believe it is important to improve the quality of my diet. For example, I like to eat cabbage slow-cooked, which I feel is a simple yet healthy way to eat. I believe that these everyday choices play an important role in my health care.

I also feel that my family life as a child deeply influenced my current way of thinking. For example, efforts to avoid producing garbage at home were commonplace. Vegetable scraps were buried in the garden to be used as fertilizer, and paper waste was used as fuel for bathing. Thanks to these efforts, we were able to live with very little waste in our homes. Looking back now, I realize that this way of life was very ecological and reasonable.

Furthermore, my job gives me many opportunities to think about taxes and social incentives, and this is reflected naturally in my daily life. Thinking about how to make our lives more efficient and sustainable, and trying to do so in our daily lives, is deeply ingrained in my own habits. By keeping this perspective in mind, I strive to lead a better life. It is my hope that the small choices I make every day will have a positive impact not only on myself, but on society as a whole.
