New long-term comprehensive plan `living well in the 21st century` Oita Prefecture 1999.12.15

The final draft of the new long-term comprehensive plan for the 21st Century (1999-fy2010) was summarized.

Among the five measures aimed at realizing the basic goal of "living in the 21st century," it is characterized by the environmental field.
(1) The number of residential solar power systems introduced in 2010 expanded from 147 to 1,000.
(2) Increase the number of municipalities obtained ISO14001 certification from 1 city to 48 municipalities.
(3) Reduce the amount of garbage discharged per person to 945 grams a day, less than 20% of the current.
(4) recycling rate of industrial waste 21.

2 percent to 44 percent. A specific numerical target was incorporated as described above. In the future, we will formulate an implementation plan that will be re-viewed every three years and promote the plan.
