Kashiwazaki Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant Resumption Plan and Regional Issues - 2001 to 2023

The Kashiwazaki Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant, located in Kariwa Village and Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture, was discussed in 2001 with plans to expand the plant, but the earthquake risk and radioactive waste management issues were pointed out.
